Here's a photo of when I was installing the pine siding....Last week I installed new brake lines. No....I do not know anything about repairing brakes, but I watched a video on youtube.com and gave it a whirl. And guess what??? I did it! I still need to bleed the brakes and will probably do that tomorrow. I'll do a post with some photos this week. Anyway, just after I started working on the brake lines, I turned around and bent down to pick up one of the new brake lines and when I turned back around to my tools laying on the big front tire...there was this clover sitting between the tools! I thought this was pretty cool since I call my land "Lucky Acres" (because it's 7.77 acres). It's not a four leaf clover but I still think it's pretty lucky to have it fall there like that right between my tools while I worked on something I really had no clue what I was doing. Everything went fine...I wonder how much money I saved by doing this myself?Yesterday the Amish neighbors bull got loose. They weren't home all day so it just kinda wondered up and down the gravel road snacking on the tall growth in the ditches. I stopped the car to take a photo and that's about all he had the patience for because right after I snapped it he dropped his head and started pawing the ground so I went on my way. Last year somebody's bull got loose near town and took over the baseball diamond. Nobody could go near the baseball diamond for a few days until somebody finally came and claimed the bull.Well, I guess that's enough bull for now...lol...more soon :o)

Summer's End
I hope everyone has had a great summer? It seems to have come and gone much too quickly. Between the extreme heat and humidity...getting things done was slow going for me. I'm 3/4 way done putting in the pine siding and will finish that tomorrow and maybe even get the windows trimmed out. Then I'll start the ceiling on Monday and hopefully be finished with it by Tuesday. After the ceiling I'll be putting in the carpeting. I really wanted to install wood flooring but since I already bought the carpet a year ago and have not been able to sell it on craigslist I've decided to go ahead and just use it for now. It will save the me the expense of storing it over winter plus the expense of buying the materials for a wood floor (for now anyway).
